コロナでアメリカに戻れず日本にいた間中、英語の練習のために主人が毎日「音読パッケージ」を音読するようになりました。
「音読パッケージ」とは
「音読パッケージ」とは森沢洋介さんという方が提唱されている英語脳を作るためのトレーニングの一つで、簡単に言えば中学生レベルの英文をひたすら音読することで英語が口から出てきやすくするというものです。

主人の感想
まだ音読トレーニングをし始めて1週間ですが、結論から言うと、既に少し効果を実感し始めたみたいです！
主人は毎週2回、アメリカのラボメンバー(研究室のボスと同僚)とzoomでミーティングをしているのですが、もともと英語が苦手なので、英語をぱっと話すことはなかなかできません。研究の進捗状況について発表の内容を予め用意していても、まだまだミーティングは難しく感じているよう。
でもこの1週間とちょっと、毎日少なくとも2時間は音読してみたところ、この間のラボミーティングではいつもよりも英語がパッと出てくるように感じたと、嬉しそうに話していました。
まだ音読トレーニングを初めてたかだか1週間なので、音読パッケージのおかげなのか分かりませんが、継続してみてまた結果を追記していきたいなと思います。
2020年12月追記
その後、主人は3周くらい音読パッケージを完了し、もう一つの「瞬間英作文」も3周くらい終わらせました。超尊敬。直接この本が効いたのかどうかは分かりませんが、半年たった今、主人のspeakingはものすごく上達しました。ネイティブともコミュニケーションを取れるし、以前までの「恐る恐る感」が無くなって、間違いも気にすることなく堂々とできるようになったみたいです。やっぱり何事も「継続」ですね！

中学で習うレベルの文型で簡単な英語をスピーディに、大量に声に出して作文。簡単な英文さえ反射的には口から出てこない、相手の話す英語は大体わかるのに自分が話すほうはからきしダメ、という行き詰まりを打破するのにとても効果的なトレーニング方法。(注意：電子書籍版には音声データはついていません)
