In chapter 1010, Luffy got "Color of the Supreme King" and resumed fighting against Kaido, one of the Four Emperors. The series is getting quite exciting with Luffy's newly gained promising power. Kaidou says something important but blurred in Japanese.

Summary
- Big Mom creates a new homie called "Hera" and attacks part of Onigashima. The attack blows Kid and Killer away.
- At Luffy's side: Zeus escaped from the box as Kid's spell over the box is weakened. Zeus tries to head to Big Mom. However, Law teleports Zeus and Zoro with him to somewhere else. Now only Luffy and Kaido are at the sight.
- Kaido says something but blurred (in Japanese). Their attacks wearing "Color of the Supreme King" greatly shock the island.
- Kid and Killer are blown away (by Big Mom's attack) into a castle. Hawkins is there. Kid leaves to find Big Mom and Killer stays to fight against Hawkins.
- Another floor in the castle: Page One chases Usopp and Nami who are with Tama. No attacks to Page One seem working. Yet, Usopp's bomb has bought time to escape.
- Big Mom shows up from nowhere. Usopp and Nami scream but Tama and Big Mom look happy to be re-united; they're friends.
- Tama tells that Kaido's people destroyed Big Mom's favored place Okobore Town. Big Mom gets furious and punches down Page One who has caught up to them.
- Ulti, Page One's older sister, is being shocked and speechless to see the scene.
What is "The Code of Sweet Beans"?
The title of this chapter is "The Code of Sweet Beans" in English and "あんこの仁義 (Anko no Jingi)" in Japanese.

あんこ (anko) is a paste made of small red beans (azuki beans) and sugar, so sweet. We can say that あんこ (anko) is a symbol of Japanese dessert "和菓子 (wagashi)". (Incidentally, "和" usually means Japan. "Wanokuni" in One Piece is supposed to be "和の国" meaning Japan. "Washoku" is "和食" and means "Japanese Food" literally.)
In fact, various Japanese desserts use あんこ (anko) like this picture (arrows indicate anko). All of them are highly recommended.
The title of this chapter "The Code of Sweet Beans" is indicating the bond between Big Mom and Okobore Town.
The Memory in Okobore Town
When Big Mom was in Okobore Town, she had "Oshiruko" like this picture. (Oshiruko is a sweet porridge of azuki beans boiled and crushed) It's sweet and tasty as Big Mom says. Usually, mochi is in it.
(There are variations of how to call this dessert in Japanese based on the districts, how to cook, the size of the beans, what kind of mochi to use, and etc. I won't go deeper with it in this post, but someday I'll introduce it in another post.)
As soon as Big Mom hears that the Okobore Town was destroyed by a troop, good memories there flush back to her: kind people, great Oshiruko, etc.
Since she values people who care about her—the people in Okobore Town in this case—, she changes her side right away at this moment. Probably, she's going to get revenge against Kaidou.
What Did Kaido Say To Luffy?
In English, Kaidou's plot "The more precarious the situation... ...the bigger your smile!!" seems to complete the sentence. However, the original plot intentionally has a positive connotation.
Due to this expression, Japanese readers don't know what exactly Kaidou says. Luffy also seems a bit puzzled right after this phrase because he couldn't hear what Kaido said.

Hence, many Japanese readers are enjoying predicting what Kaidou says as it might be indicating something important.
The original seems like saying "You laugh as the situation being more precarious......, the more you laugh ......." The last "......" is the positive connotation I'm referring to.
He might be saying "the more you laugh, you, the D clan, get stronger..." kind of thing. This "you" might not necessarily suggest Luffy, but "the D clan" as a whole. Luffy's behavior and attitude might have reminded Kaidou of the powerful pirates with whom he fought before.
"Laugh" in One Piece

Laugh Tale is the island at the end of the New World which supposedly holds the treasure One Piece. It was named by Gol D. Roger after he and his crew arrived on the island and discovered the treasure left there by Joy Boy.

Gol D. Roger and his crew burst into laughter when they found the One Piece that left by Joy Boy. The word "laugh" in One Piece might be significant throughout the story. So, when you come across the word "laugh," it might be worth thinking the word suggests something.
